The 2016 CGCA Fellowship Applications for Spring and project-based residencies 

Serving over 350 artists in the last 30 years, WheatonArts provides an exceptional opportunity for artists to pursue their creative development in one of the finest glass facilities in the country.
 
The Fellowship program is an outstanding and unparalleled residency program for artists who work with glass.During their residencies, artists have the use of private studios and excellent facilities within a nurturing community insulated from external pressures. This is an exceptional opportunity for artists to utilize one of the finest facilities of the glass medium, known internationally. Not only do artists get exceptional access to these facilities and various process mediums, but they also receive generous stipends, private studios, technical assistance, comfortable housing, and institutional support. In addition, they are embraced by a dedicated and warm staff, all on a beautiful 65-acre campus that is truly a creative sanctuary, just 45 minutes south of Philadelphia.

In 2016, WheatonArts will award ten Fellowships to emerging and mid-career artists. Four Fellowships will be awarded for three-month, spring residencies.During the remainder of the year, WheatonArts will work to accommodate artists' needs with project-based residencies of various lengths and schedules. Artists are encouraged to submit proposals ranging from standard six-week residencies to intermittent residencies, to short-term project support. Alumni of the Fellowship program are strongly encouraged to apply and are eligible if they received a Fellowship in 2012 or earlier. Please share this opportunity with other artists who may be interested in the program.
 
The application deadline is November 1, 2015.
