Building on the success of the first edition, which attracted more than 75,000 visitors in 2017, the festival will return, promoted by the Town Council of Venice, Fondazione Musei Civici, Fondazione Cini, Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, and Consorzio Promovetro Murano.
Over 75,000 visitors packed the streets of Venice and Murano to participate in the 150 events included in the city’s first international festival dedicated to the art of glass, and on the strength of this, The Venice Glass Week will be repeated. From Thursday 8th February it will be possible to apply to participate in the second edition of the event, which is scheduled from 9th to 16th September 2018.
Applicants must consult www.theveniceglassweek.com/tvgw/applications-2018/, download the application form and conditions of participation, fill in the form with details of their proposed project, and send it to the festival coordinator by 3rd April 2018.
