After the success of GLASS IS TOMORROW's first phase Pro Materia, and its partners have the pleasure to announce the launching of http:// – GIT II which is again co-financed by the EU Culture Programme (2007-2013).?In its second phase which has started up on 1st June 2013 and will last until 31 May 2015, GLASS IS TOMORROW – GIT II will aim at collaborating further with high end glass centers and postgraduate education departments specialized into glass design, in order to increase the quality of the glass production in Europe and the awareness of the European glass culture, tradition and innovations towards the professional world and the general public.

The first GLASS IS TOMORROW II workshop will take place in Boda (SE), from the 7th until the 12 of July 2013. If you want to stay updated about the evolution of the project and network, discover new images and videos by following GIT on Facebook

The countdown to the GLASS IS TOMORROW II workshop begins! Nine professional designers, glass blowers and makers will gather in Boda, Sweden, from 7 until 12 July 2013, in very close collaboration with our local Swedish partner The Glass Factory. • Postgraduate workshop in France, 8-13 September 2013 at Boisbuchet with CIRECA and the Glass Lab of Corning Glass Museum NYC. Up to 5 postgraduate students, within a group of 15 participants.
• Postgraduate workshop in France in October/November 2013 at the Verreries de Saint-Just with ESADSE – High School of Art and Design of Saint-Etienne (located at the Cité du Design). Up to 10 participants.
• Professional workshop in France in May 2014 at CIAV in Meisenthal. Up to 10 participants.
• Postgraduate workshop in Spring 2015 at the RCA- Royal College of Arts in London at the new Battersea Building with Vessel Gallery. Up to 10 participants.
