Lecture by Kari Russell-Pool at Espace VERRE
Thursday, January 16 at 7 p.m
.

Visiting Montreal to offer a workshop to professional glass artists, Kari Russell-Pool will give a presentation of her current work, for all.
Russell-Pool is specialized in the flameworking technique. With the assistance of her husband and collaborator Marc Petrovic, she developed her unique technique which consists of pulling glass rods from a hot shop furnace. This allows her to add blown elements to her flameworked sculptures, as well as the possibility of working with a larger spectrum of colours.
