New Glass Review
Published by The Corning Museum of Glass, New Glass Review is an annual survey of glass in contemporary art, architecture, craft, and design created in the previous year by emerging and established artists, as well as students. The works are chosen by a changing jury of curators, artists, designers, art dealers, and critics.
This volume features 100 important contemporary sculptures, vessels, and other works in glass by emerging and established artists from October 1, 2011, to October 1, 2012, chosen by jurors Hank Murta Adams, artist and glass studio creative director, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, Millville, New Jersey; Jeroen Maes, artistic coordinator and curator, Glazen Huis, Lommel, Belgium; Tina Oldknow, curator of modern glass, The Corning Museum of Glass; and Jutta-Annette Page, curator of glass and decorative arts, The Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo, Ohio. Also included is a review of 2012 developments in contemporary glassmaking worldwide as well as recent acquisitions of contemporary glass objects.
