Why you are working with glass?
Personnel for me, the work with glass has become a creative way to express my feelings best. Stained glass has such an unearthly quality that touches my most inner emotions. Every time I find myself in front of glass art I start feeling great inner happiness. Even as a little child I was amazed by church window flooded with light. Nowadays I am fascinated by modern or contemporary glass art found in public facilities which are worth it to explore. Additionally, I am interested and charmed in the existing versatility and diversity of glass for offering various inspirations. I love to find solutions and possibilities to establish my ideas and projects with the material glass. To redesign an environment only by bringing out effective accents of glass work is what deeply concerns me.

What works did you make in architecture?
In general, my work consists out of designing highlighting areas. Furthermore, designs of interior decoration belong to my tasks as well. The outcome of my work always depends on the aim of requested effects whether in a graphical way or by drawing. I am pleased and flexible in applying my achieved knowledge. My recent project of the church in Porta Westfalica gives a good impression of my kind of work. My contribution at the church includes the design of two main altar windows and a fitting light flooded glass cross. An extra window located above the front door, connecting and continuing the present topic from the altar windows was designed by me as well. Projected by me, was the “history of creation” in seven light steles next to the entrance area too. At last the created font design on the entrance door of the church was another contribution by myself.

Why did you choose this image and techniques?
The architecture of the building itself has a simple and modest style. I have tried various designs for the windows and concluded quite fast that the final draft should be in contrast to the architecture design of the building.
Moreover, I am fascinated and inspired by the Japanese culture and aesthetic,
The Japanese culture and the “four elements” involved in my church design created a unique harmony in combination with the light flooded cross in the middle.
In conclusion glass painting is a technique that translates the ductus from paper drafts onto glass.
