Some vases were produced in colored transparent glass solely such as the Barfota (Figure 4), Sannolik (Figure 5) or Ätgäng (Figure 6), Fyllig (Figure 7) or Stockholm (Figure 8) series.  They differ among each other in the interesting form they were designed in. These series were produced in 1, 2 or 3 selected colors, but from series are produced in several colors. Series as Lovlig are produced in several colors and have a decorative surface added (Figure 9).
Maria Vinka recently developed a series of small green transparent vases “Användbar” that can be used to enable rooting of cut plant fragments (Figure 10).

Non-transparent vases
Some of the colorless transparent vases were also executed in non-transparent glass (e.g. Salong Figure 11).
Non-transparent vases made only a fraction of the IKEA vase production, but some have been put on the market. Okkso was such a series produced in 2 colors and with an odd shape (Figure 12). Solstrale is a series, executed in yellow and green non-transparent glass with a strong undulating form (Figure 13).
Several low budget series in rainbow colors and in an flask form were produced such as the Somrig series (Figure 14) by Per Ivar Ledang and the Skämt series (Figure 15)

Color decoration
Besides these vases in a uniform color, some vases have been produced in which the color is an essential part of the decoration. A first in this kind of vases was the series Elsklig, in which a colored dot was added to a transparent vase (Figure 16). Thee series Formlig, the color bands are used to delineate the transparent part of the colored rim (Figure 17), while in the vase Firande (Figure 18), the color is used to make an intricate pattern of black lines on the glass surface.
Color was not only integrated in the glass but in the series Kuriös, designed by Anna Efverlund, an aluminum cover was added to the glass, enabling different combinations to play with form and color (Figure 19).
