Participants of this practical part of the symposium might bring base material prepared beforehand and focus only on the cutting or engraving part at the symposium. The participants can therefore use their own glass base material on the basis of a chosen project, or use base material provided by the organizers.
Works created at the symposium will be presented at a working exhibition at Glass Museum in Kamenický Senov immediately after the symposium. Afterwards, they will be exhibited at exhibitions in many specialized museum institutions home, and for three years also abroad. Based on a signed agreement the work will become property of the Glass Museum in Kamenický Senov, which has long been professionally engaged in engraved glass, both in the Czech and international context. These new works will be added to its already extensive collection of works created at International Symposium of Engraved Glass.
Candidates will be nominated by a professional jury and invited on the basis of an open call to send filled-in applications and necessary documents. Jury members are included in the application form, as well as other organizational information, including dates.
