The owners of Condor House in Portland, Oregon, are collectors of contemporary glass and had long appreciated MADE’s designs in wood.
They asked MADE's founder, Bo Hagood, to work with the designers and fabricators at Bullseye Studio to both provide context for their glass collection and marry the seemingly disparate materials. From designing integrated glass pulls for the Oregon white oak kitchen cabinet doors, to pairing a massive Oregon maple slab with glass for an award-winning dining table, as well as a slab of Oregon maple with glass for the front entry door, the teams explored a range of connections, eventually involving Brian Creany of Flux Design to provide steel elements for the latter two projects.
