Kölbl is the German name given to the glass ball that every glass blower begins each new project with. They are the embryo for the development of artistic talent.?Since 2009 the Zwieseler Kölbl has become a bi-annual event alternating with the Zwieseler Glastage. This presentation is promoted by the town of Zwiesel and AK Glas, and is open to all European glass artists under the age of 30. It is their chance to demonstrate both their skills and unusual ideas. The best examples will be on display in the exhibition and also available to purchase.
