'Built into Nature'
The fifth lecture in the series is on Sweden and its Naturum centres. These visitors’ centres with activities and exhibitions are located in connection with several of the country’s national parks and nature reserves. The centres are designed to underline the connection between people and nature.
Architect Peter Hallén will present the Naturum network and its notable architectural solutions.
12-13th of December, 19:00, CIVA, Brussels
All Nordic countries take part in the final two-day event dedicated to discussions on the lecture series and a set of documentary films on architecture.
During the two evenings, local partners will join for discussions on the topics of the lecture series. Questions, such as whether the values, themes and ideals of Nordic architecture could possibly serve as inspiration in such a densely populated area as Belgium, shall be brought to the fore. Next to the discussions, various films on Nordic architecture shall be screened.
