At Boisbuchet we are very proud to announce the beginning of our partnership with the Biennale Interieur, held in Kortrijk, Belgium, since 1968.
Starting in spring 2014, the collaboration will include a number of events and happenings throughout the year.
 
Together we will host an exclusive workshop for the Interieur Awards.
The 20 selected winners of the Objects category will be invited to create their prototype at Boisbuchet in the summer of 2014.
In October, a dedicated design exhibition will follow during the Biennale.

The Interieur Awards are a biannual competition organised by the Biennale Interieur. Just like Boisbuchet, their core value is to offer designers a platform to develop their ideas and make them real.

The Interieur Awards have been an integral part of the Biennale since 1972 and can look back on an impressive list of international juries and designers who have managed to boost their careers with the help of the Awards.
 

Entry
Anyone who thinks to have designed a yet unpublished object which is not in production and that might contribute to an improvement in our daily environment, is welcome to take part in the Objects category. Apart from the Grand Price of 2.500 euro, 20 selected winners are being offered a workshop in Boisbuchet to create their prototype.
 
A second category, called Spaces (closed) was introduced in 2012 and now gains an extra dimension: the design – and for the five winners the execution – of one of the bars at the Biennale Interieur in the Kortrijk Xpo venue 

The Biennale Interieur, a meeting place to experience trends, tastes, avant-garde and movements that define design today, will take place in Kortrijk, Belgium from 17-26 October 2014.
