Tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Professionally, safely and efficiently running and maintaining a
clean and organized workshop
• Preparing monthly schedules for overall use of the workshop and
the adjacent space, the Project room
• Assisting all artists participating in the AiR i S12 program – on
an artistic and technical level, regardless of technique used
• Responsibility for installation and removal of S12s exhibitions
5 – 6 exhibitions a year
• Taking part in outreach and education programs, including: The
Creative Sunday School during 3 - 4 Sundays a month Courses
for amateurs and professionals
• Helping arrange and participating in various in-house events
including artist presentations and demonstrations
• Contributing to a positive studio environment for all users of the
workshop
S12 will provide:
• Basic monthly income for the combined role as WM/AiR, to be
agreed upon
• Round trip (tourist class) hometown/Bergen
• Free access to the workshop when not in use for S12 projects.
During normal schedule this will include 2 days a week as well
as all evenings
• Possibility for you to use the workshop uninterrupted, and for
longer periods to create own work
• Full access to a non-glass studio in C.S.55
• The possibility to sell your own work through S12
• Help to find housing in the center of Bergen
In addition
• Estimated working days a week are five (Wednesday – Sunday).
Working hours pr. day are eight, but can vary depending on
activities
• Fluent knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of one of
the Scandinavian languages is an asset
• You will be joining a small team running and continuously
developing the activities of S12
• S12 works on a project basis and is funded as such
• S12 can and must generate its own income through educational
and community activities
